The Perdomo reverse 10th anniversary Maduro epicure is a long name for a cigar, however, the ageing process behind it is even longer.

At first glance, the Maduro epicure has a very distinct outer wrapper leaf, an incredibly dark brown, almost black, leaf, aged for over 7 years total.

As you would expect from a cigar that took 7 years to prepare, the attention to detail present in the construction of this cigar is impeccable, perfectly dense and even packing of tobacco and a very deep cap on the head makes it foolproof for cutting.

As a general market cigars tend to be stronger, however the Maduro epicure is an exception to this rule. While the flavours of this cigar are still relatively strong compared to something like the (Perdomo 10th), the body (flavour strength) still ranks as a medium, never getting overpowering or harsh.

The primary flavours are the deep richness that you tend to get out of a dark roasted coffee, coupled with dark chocolate notes and a light raisin sweetness and a bonfirey smokiness.

With a medium nicotine level, this Maduro offers an indulgent experience without the heavy punch, making it approachable even for those who might not regularly enjoy cigars.

As previously mentioned, this won cigar journals cigar of the year award in 2021 and received a score of 93/100
