The CLE 25th anniversary Robusto a bit of an oddball as far as cigars go, from golden band, to the tissue paper skirt, to the strange semicircle rectangular shape, before even cutting it, its clear that this definitely isnā€™t a run of the mill cigar.

The shape really isnā€™t to be underestimated in the effect it has on the overall cigar experience, it really makes this relatively sizeable cigar feel effortless in hand and in mouth and assures that it stays put on any ashtray you could throw it at (but donā€™t throw it, its too good to waste).Ā 

The smoke production is noteworthy on this cigar, perhaps due to the shape, perhaps due to the quality of the leaves used, regardless this cigar has an incredibly smooth and even draw that produces thick clouds of flavour packed smoke.

On the note of flavours, the flavour notes are fantastic, this cigar has all of the rich coffee, nutty, roasty toasty, chocolate notes that you may expect from a darker cigar all smoothed out by a layer of creaminessĀ that makes this cigar eminently smokeable.

Itā€™s a lighter body than some of our other premium offerings, and that body definitely comes shows with the smoothness and smokability of this cigar. Compared to something like the incredibly bold Le Bijou, the CLE 25th anniversary provides a rich and premium experience without feeling like youā€™re diving off the deep end. Perfect for anyone looking to dip into something more refined but still approachable.
