The Casa Turrent 1880 Claro Lancero delivers a perfect balance of spice and toasty flavours right from the first puff. 

The lancero shape is fun to hold in your hand and encapsulates everything great about a small cigar but just for waaaaay longer (it took me about 80 minutes to get through). 

The slim, lengthy shape creates an exceptionally smooth draw, as the smoke has to work its way through almost 20 centimetres of cigar before getting to you, keeping the smoke away from your face and allowing the flavours to very gradually intensify over the course of the cigar.

Despite its slim profile, the cigar burns slowly, giving you plenty of time to savour the experience. I smoked this cigar for about 40 minutes and looked down to find a full 10 centimetre cigar still in my hand. 

As such, this Casa Turrent 1880 Claro Lancero makes the perfect smoke to sit about chatting to friends, while it’s a little on the pricier side of our cigars, its definitely great value for money with the length of time it takes to burn through.
