The A.J. Fernandez New World Oscuro Petit Corona was the first cigar I sampled when starting this website, and since then, I’ve struggled to find anything that matches its charm.

This cigar offers a flavour profile as bold as its appearance—intensely rich and deeply roasty with a subtle spicy kick. If you enjoy roasted almonds, dark chocolate, and black coffee, this smoke is likely to hit the mark for you.

While admittedly compromising on size, it certainly doesn’t hold back on flavour. The New World Oscuro Petit Corona delivers the experience of a premium cigar condensed into a smaller form factor. 

Expect a kick of spice on the light, before settling into a consistent, mid-strength roast that, for me at least, was a deeply satisfying smoke.

On the day we tested it, this cigar truly stood out as the star of the show. With its approachable size, rich taste, and great value, it’s an excellent choice for beginners and seasoned smokers alike.
